Nashville, TN – The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) awarded CGS Administrators the Jurisdiction 15 Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) contract. This seven-year contract allows CGS to continue as the MAC for the states of Kentucky and Ohio, as well as the Home Health and Hospice MAC for 15 states and the District of Columbia.
As the MAC, CGS provides an array of specialized services to include audit and reimbursement, medical review, provider enrollment, customer service, and appeals. CGS also provides claims processing and other supporting functions such as training and development, quality assurance, and information systems.
